Elizabeth Kupferman, RN, MA, NCC
Elizabeth is experienced at helping women who are struggling with grief, social anxiety, life stressors, depression, life transitions (such as divorce, retirement, a new move to Florida) and those who are struggling with past traumas or terminal illnesses (either as the one ill or a caregiver). She has had particular success working with women who have lost their passion for life and who want to move toward living their dreams. Elizabeth uses a combination of client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and expressive arts therapy, as well as a variety of traditional techniques depending on the client and the situation. Elizabeth earned her undergraduate and Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Creativity in Counseling, Sandplay Therapists of America, Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Death Education and Counseling and Sigma Theta Tau International (Honor Society of Nursing). She has both consulted and worked with Hospice and Palliative Care in Charlotte, North Carolina in the support of grieving children, adolescents and adults. She has also worked with organizations such as The Orlando Diocese, Lohman Funeral Homes and The Continental Group. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, and a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida. In addition to counseling, Elizabeth is a Certified Life Coach and a Professional Speaker. |
